Hot Toddy's strong blues base inherent in this Atlantic Canadian trio's sound is accompanied by a sweet blend of roots and jazz, creating a unique mix of accoustic/electric accentuated by downright mischievous lyrics that astonish and delight both Canadian and European audiences. In December 2001 Hot Toddy was nominated for Best Blues Group, their third East Coast Music Association nomination in their five year history and third independent recording. Winners of a "Cream of the Crop" Award, the trio were among the finalists in the Canadian Independent Music Nominations, and the Toronto Blues Society Competition. Not surprisingly, this widespread exposure has presented Hot Toddy with an animated legion of dedicated fans. This talented trio is sure to enchant their fans for years to come.
