This solo debut by one of the founding members of Moby Grape, one of the great bands of the '60's, is one of Taxim's most critically acclaimed projects. Rolling Stone Magazine of Germany gave the disc a five star rating and here in America, the Stone review said, "In 1967 the great, ill fated Moby Grape made one of the truly perfect debut albums in rock. 28 years later.......Lewis turns up with an equally exquisite solo bow....rich in luminous vocal harmonies and sweet folk-rock lyricism". The beautiful 28 page booklet is filled with color reproductions of many of Peter's paintings. Production chores were handled by John McFee (Doobie Brothers, Clover, Southern Pacific) and the album features veteran sidemen like Keith Knudsen, Stu Cook, Randy Meisner and John York. Highly recommended by the MERCER GROUP staff. lineup Peter Lewis - vocals, guitars John McFee - background vocals, guitars, harmonica, mandolin, pedal steel Stu Cook - bass Cornelius Bumpus - tenor saxophone, flute Keith Knudsen - drums Guy Allison - keyboards David West - mandolin Alan Hughes - eulogy Shane McFee - guitar
