Classic folk-rock is the foundation here but Richard Brown is definitely a part of the roots music scene of today. Working with Nashville producer Fred James, Brown delivers a terrific Taxim debut with songs that remind us of the music of the Byrds, Bob Dylan, Steve Earle and Tom Petty, as well as establishing himself as a great storyteller and an artist to watch for in the future.
